Today is ‘INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY’, as a teenager during the 1970’s, I experienced and witnessed sexism in all walks of life; during that time era I fought many personal battles – achieved the right for equal pay, choose to wear trousers at work, wear my hair down, little personal victories. In the early 90’s I stood up for a good friend who was being sexually intimidated and victimized in the work place, so she didn’t have to continue working in fear; I fought that battle and all the others with the help of BOOKS, WORDS AND A PEN. This years theme is #BeBoldForChange , lets stand up globally together to help women achieve their highest potential and unleash their ‘INNER-POWER’ where ever you are send LOVE to the World Lisa Jo Astle
